Rob Standridge, Here I Go Again
I know, some days you wake up and think the world has gone mad; I am right there beside you with a roll of duct tape. But then we find ourselves flying down the hill of life seemingly with no time to worry about the craziness around us, but we must. It is actually easier than you think just to say, "This is not right", and let's start fixing it.
This podcast is part biography — primarily about my guests — part politics, part family, with a hefty dose of entertainment. As serious as life gets — and our current downslide as a culture is definitely serious — we must approach life with a good, happy spirit, and as we stand up to those who wish to tear us down, we must do so with a smile.
Join me —let me know what you think —and maybe one day you'll join us in our conversation. God bless.

Please welcome Zolal Habibi, American Iranian activist for a free and Democratic Iran, to the Here I Go Again Podcast, where, for the first time, I am joined by my co-host, Holly. With over 25 years of dedicated activism, Zolal has become a fierce advocate for the voiceless inside Iran, regularly appearing at international forums, human rights conferences, and on podcasts. As an Iranian American, Zolal can offer a perspective we Americans can better relate to regarding life in Iran. From life for a girl in college in Iran, to the efforts to end the current conflict in freedom, you will really enjoy this inside perspective on Iran. Join me for a lively, sometimes deep, often lighthearted and funny, thought-provoking conversation with Bob Linn, a good friend and current President of OCPAC for 6-7 years, https://ocpacfoundation.org. From shiploads of wine to unethical medicine to current elections to many other interesting topics, we cover the gamut of politics and current events. In the world of state politics, we talk about the greatness of the Fab 5 and the Freedom Caucus, to the despotism of the current Oklahoma Senate Leadership, where letting members speak is deemed a privilege; I know, it just doesn't sound like the Republic we founded called America, but it is reality.

Join me for a great conversation with my friend, Charlie Meadows. We discuss the upcoming state question, SQ832, and you can look for Charlie speaking on this topic near you, or visit OCPA's website at www.sq832killsjobs.com to learn more. We also discuss the roots and beginnings of OCPAC, the Oklahoma Conservative Political Action Committee, including the many years it was instrumental in Oklahoma's legislature becoming a majority Republican. Naturally, we cover statewide candidates, the current leadership status in the House and Senate, and upcoming Senate races across the state. Charlie has also started his own blog, and I would encourage everyone to check it out. Here is a link: https://www.facebook.com/ABCsOfPoliticsAndCulture.

Join me for an interesting and often controversial conversation with my friend and former Oklahoma State Representative Mike Reynolds. We will discuss everything from political corruption to the grip that moderate Republicans have on our Oklahoma legislature. Since before he was first elected in the early 2000s, Mike has fought for righteous political causes, and to this day he has helped elect true conservatives. Mike is also a voter data expert, and you can view his data at www.oklahomadata.com or email him at mike@oklahomadata.com to find out how he can help you or someone you are supporting in their race for political office.

If you want to know anything about the legal battles waged by Home School families or what it takes to win an argument in front of the most powerful court on the planet, talk to my friend, Dr. Mike Farris. Join us as we talk about his journey in faith, his love of homeschooling that led to HSLDA and the founding of Patrick Henry College, up to his leadership in the Convention of States movement. I was honored to debate alongside Mike over a decade ago here in Oklahoma, and I continue to fight with him to save this Republic for future generations.

Senator Nathan Dahm, arguably the most conservative Senator to serve in Oklahoma, joins me for a wide-ranging discussion from Oklahoma Freedom Caucus to his childhood in Romania to leadership challenges in the Senate to many interesting stories about our time serving together. If you are running for the Oklahoma State Senate, I highly recommend joining the Freedom Caucus at your first opportunity. Not only is it the family of conservatives in the Senate, where members truly lean on each other, but you also have the incredible opportunity to have Nathan's mentorship and leadership to help you be the best Senator you can be.

If you want to learn about our founding history and more, you have come to the right podcast. Enjoy this hour-long conversation with my good David Barton, the most highly regarded originalist historian of our founding era. Join me as we discuss everything from the modern movement to put In God We Trust (our motto) on government buildings, the Jefferson Bible, Freemasonry, and our founders, and much more. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoy every time I visit with David about our heritage.

Join me for a great conversation with my friend and patriot, Mark Meckler. We will cover a lot of great information, from Mark's national leadership in the Tea Party Movement to now leading the Citizens for Self-Governance, whose mission is to rein in an out-of-control federal government. From Term Limits to a Balanced Budget, Mark shares years of wisdom and knowledge, and shows us what we currently use our Constitution, a 3000 page tome full of court interpretations of our Constitution that sometimes agree with our founders but often miss the mark.

Join me for a great conversation with my friend and Congressman Josh Brecheen. We discuss how he got into politics, his friendship and mentorship with Dr. Coburn, his time in the FFA, his battle in the Oklahoma State Senate to remove Common Core, and we conclude with a great discussion on our Constitution and how our founders intended us to use Article V of the US Constitution to rein in a tyrannical federal government
